| Filecoin Pin is an IPFS Pinning Service API implementation that pins to Filecoin's PDP service. In daemon deployments up to and including version 1.1.0, `POST /pins` in `src/filecoin-pinning-server.ts` checks a caller-supplied CID with `CID.parse` and passes it to `pinStore.pin`, but does not enforce request rate limits or per-user quotas. In `src/filecoin-pin-store.ts`, each pin independently schedules `_processPinInBackground` with `setTimeout` without a queue, semaphore or concurrency cap, then recursively traverses the full DAG using `helia.pins.add(cid)`. The per-pin Helia/Bitswap node in `src/create-pinning-helia.ts` has no application-level byte, block or traversal-time limits. Blocks are written under `carStoragePath` by `src/core/car/car-blockstore-base.ts` and `src/core/car/car-file-backend.ts`, with `stats.totalSize` updated only after writing. An authenticated caller, or an anonymous caller when `ALLOW_NO_AUTH=true`, can submit large DAGs and exhaust disk, network, CPU, memory and libp2p resources, causing service degradation or host/process failure and leaving partial CAR files requiring recovery. The default localhost binding and token requirement reduce exposure. Because nodes have no bootstrap or mDNS configuration, a CID alone may not be fetchable, but caller-supplied `origins` can point to a reachable attacker-controlled libp2p source; concurrent requests accelerate resource pressure. Version 1.1.1 documents operational mitigations but does not implement the missing resource controls. |
| svg-sanitizer from 0.5.3 before 1.1.0 contains a denial of service vulnerability in Sanitizer::sanitize() that repeatedly rescans the whole input while stripping PHP tags. Unauthenticated attackers can upload SVGs with many overlapping PHP tag openers and closers, forcing quadratic preg_replace passes that exhaust worker CPU for minutes. |
| Mattermost versions 11.9.x <= 11.9.1, 11.8.x <= 11.8.5, 11.7.x <= 11.7.10, 11.10.x <= 11.10.1 fail to bind the volume of text extracted from an uploaded PDF which allows an authenticated user to exhaust server memory and cause a denial of service via a crafted PDF whose compressed content stream expands into a very large amount of text.. Mattermost Advisory ID: MMSA-2026-00769 |
| A security vulnerability has been detected in ag-ui-protocol ag-ui up to 0.0.58. Affected is the function parseSSEStream of the file sdks/typescript/packages/client/src/transform/sse.ts of the component SSE Parser. The manipulation leads to resource consumption. The attack may be initiated remotely. The exploit has been disclosed publicly and may be used. The identifier of the patch is 9e7b2b00bce215bbf731f1e6094f63812527c432. The affected component should be upgraded. |
| The fix for CVE-2019-0199 was incomplete and did not address HTTP/2 connection window exhaustion on write in Apache Tomcat versions 9.0.0.M1 to 9.0.19 and 8.5.0 to 8.5.40 . By not sending WINDOW_UPDATE messages for the connection window (stream 0) clients were able to cause server-side threads to block eventually leading to thread exhaustion and a DoS. |
| A denial-of-service vulnerability exists in open5GS v2.8.0 in the PFCP transaction handling path. When the PFCP transaction or timer resource pool is exhausted, ogs_pfcp_xact_remote_create() returns NULL, but the failure is not handled properly and leads to an ogs_assert(new) failure in ogs_pfcp_xact_receive(). An attacker able to send PFCP messages to the affected SMF/UPF can exhaust transaction resources and cause the network function process to terminate with SIGABRT, resulting in service disruption and preventing further session establishment until the affected component is restarted. |
| The issue is a resource exhaustion vulnerability associated with DNSSEC validation. BIND always validates all RRSIG records in an answer, even if they are not strictly needed. A query to an authoritative server/zone which returns many valid but superfluous RRSIG records causes the validator to waste disproportionate CPU time.
This issue affects BIND 9 versions 9.20.0 through 9.20.24, 9.21.0 through 9.21.23, and 9.20.9-S1 through 9.20.24-S1. |
| A DNSSEC validating resolver that is under a random subdomain attack against a DNSSEC-signed zone can suffer from runaway memory usage. The attacker needs to be able to send queries faster than the resolver can perform validation. The increased memory usage can be orders of magnitude beyond the limit configured in the `max-cache-size` parameter.
This issue affects BIND 9 versions 9.11.0 through 9.18.50, 9.20.0 through 9.20.24, 9.21.0 through 9.21.23, 9.11.3-S1 through 9.18.50-S1, and 9.20.9-S1 through 9.20.24-S1. |
| A vulnerability was determined in a2aproject a2a-go up to 2.4.0. Impacted is an unknown function of the file a2asrv/rest.go of the component REST SSE handler. This manipulation causes resource consumption. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. Upgrading to version 2.5.0 is recommended to address this issue. Patch name: ff6035bd21e44bb3ee1bfa547885b8c08327fa01. It is recommended to upgrade the affected component. |
| pypdf is a free and open-source pure-python PDF library. Prior to 6.20.0, accessing a crafted PDF stream with a large number of filters or multiple filters that pass around large amounts of data can cause large memory consumption. This issue is fixed in version 6.20.0. |
| pypdf is a free and open-source pure-python PDF library. Prior to 6.21.0, an attacker can craft a PDF that causes large memory usage or long runtimes when an application retrieves the document's form fields. This issue is fixed in version 6.21.0. |
| pypdf is a free and open-source pure-python PDF library. Prior to version 6.6.0, pypdf has possible long runtimes for missing /Root object with large /Size values. An attacker who uses this vulnerability can craft a PDF which leads to possibly long runtimes for actually invalid files. This can be achieved by omitting the /Root entry in the trailer, while using a rather large /Size value. Only the non-strict reading mode is affected. This issue has been patched in version 6.6.0. |
| pypdf is a free and open-source pure-python PDF library. Prior to 6.7.3, an attacker who uses this vulnerability can craft a PDF which leads to the RAM being exhausted. This requires accessing the `xfa` property of a reader or writer and the corresponding stream being compressed using `/FlateDecode`. This has been fixed in pypdf 6.7.3. As a workaround, apply the patch manually. |
| pypdf is a free and open-source pure-python PDF library. Prior to version 6.6.0, pypdf has possible long runtimes for malformed startxref. An attacker who uses this vulnerability can craft a PDF which leads to possibly long runtimes for invalid startxref entries. When rebuilding the cross-reference table, PDF files with lots of whitespace characters become problematic. Only the non-strict reading mode is affected. Only the non-strict reading mode is affected. This issue has been patched in version 6.6.0. |
| pypdf is a free and open-source pure-python PDF library. Prior to 6.19.0, a crafted PDF with form field values can cause pypdf/generic/_appearance_stream.py appearance-stream generation to repeat invariant selection-data work inside a loop when an application updates fields with flattening enabled, resulting in excessive runtimes and application unavailability. This issue is fixed in version 6.19.0. |
