A flaw was found in the RPM Package Manager (RPM). A local user could be affected by a heap buffer overflow vulnerability when processing a specially crafted NDB database file. This issue arises from an error in how RPM handles certain calculations during file parsing, leading to an incorrect memory allocation. An attacker could leverage this to cause a denial of service, making the system unavailable.
A flaw was found in libsoup. A remote attacker, by controlling the method parameter of the `soup_message_new()` function, could inject arbitrary headers and additional request data. This vulnerability, known as CRLF (Carriage Return Line Feed) injection, occurs because the method value is not properly escaped during request line construction, potentially leading to HTTP request injection.
A flaw was found in libsoup, a library used by applications to send network requests. This vulnerability occurs because libsoup does not properly validate hostnames, allowing special characters to be injected into HTTP headers. A remote attacker could exploit this to perform HTTP smuggling, where they can send hidden, malicious requests alongside legitimate ones. In certain situations, this could lead to Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF), enabling an attacker to force the server to make unauthorized requests to other internal or external systems. The impact is low, as SoupServer is not actually used in internet infrastructure.
IBM Cloud Pak System 2.3.6.0, and 2.3.6.1 uses weaker than expected cryptographic algorithms that could allow an attacker to decrypt highly sensitive information.
IBM Cloud Pak System 2.3.6.0, and 2.3.6.1 is vulnerable to cross site scripting. The web app user‑supplied input is not properly sanitized or HTML‑encoded before being stored and rendered. An authenticated attacker could exploit this vulnerability by entering specially crafted payloads containing malicious JavaScript which are saved within the app and later executed automatically when user views affected pages, resulting in Stored Cross‑Site Scripting (Stored XSS).
The vulnerability is a Use-After-Free (UAF) in the EVS AIDL HAL, arising from a data race on an unsynchronized `std::weak_ptr` within `EvsEnumerator::openCamera()`. Specifically, concurrent calls from a privileged UID (e.g., `AID_AUTOMOTIVE_EVS`) can cause a torn `weak_ptr` state, leading to a virtual call through a freed object's vtable at `cameraObj->getCameraInfo(&desc)`. This allows for potential arbitrary code execution within the `hal_evs_default` process.
The All In One Login WordPress plugin before 2.5.0 does not adequately restrict the number of attempts that can be made against the short numeric code used by its default-enabled passwordless email login, and does not feed those failed attempts into its own brute-force protection, allowing unauthenticated attackers to take over any account including administrators.
IBM Cloud Pak System 2.3.6.0, and 2.3.6.1 is vulnerable to HTML injection. A remotely authenticated attacker could inject malicious HTML code, which when viewed, would be executed in the victim's Web browser within the security context of the hosting site.
IBM ContextForge MCP Gateway 0.1.0 through 1.0.5 is vulnerable to a server-side request Forgery (SSRF) that allows authenticated users with gateway creation privileges to perform arbitrary HTTP POST requests to internal network resources and cloud metadata endpoints. The vulnerability occurs during OAuth-enabled gateway registration when the system fails to validate the oauth_config.token_url parameter. When registering a gateway with OAuth client credentials authentication, an attacker can supply a malicious token_url pointing to internal services, cloud metadata endpoints (AWS IMDSv1, GCP, Azure), or localhost-bound services. The application immediately performs an HTTP POST request to the attacker-controlled URL with form-encoded credentials in the body. If the response cannot be parsed as a valid OAuth token response, up to 256 characters of the response body are reflected back to the attacker in the HTTP 502 error message. This vulnerability bypasses existing SSRF protections that are applied to the gateway.url field but not to OAuth configuration parameters.
A flaw was found in mod_proxy_cluster. This vulnerability, a Carriage Return Line Feed (CRLF) injection in the decodeenc() function, allows a remote attacker to bypass input validation. By injecting CRLF sequences into the cluster configuration, an attacker can corrupt the response body of INFO endpoint responses. Exploitation requires network access to the MCMP protocol port, but no authentication is needed.
A flaw was found in util-linux. Improper hostname canonicalization in the `login(1)` utility, when invoked with the `-h` option, can modify the supplied remote hostname before setting `PAM_RHOST`. A remote attacker could exploit this by providing a specially crafted hostname, potentially bypassing host-based Pluggable Authentication Modules (PAM) access control rules that rely on fully qualified domain names. This could lead to unauthorized access.
A flaw was found in the FTP GVfs backend. A malicious FTP server can exploit this vulnerability by providing an arbitrary IP address and port in its passive mode (PASV) response. The client unconditionally trusts this information and attempts to connect to the specified endpoint, allowing the malicious server to probe for open ports accessible from the client's network.
