CVSS v3.1 |
| A buffer overflow vulnerability in the Brotli decoder (c/dec/decode.c) in Google Brotli versions 1.0.3 through 1.2.0 on all platforms allows a remote unauthenticated attacker to corrupt adjacent decoder state memory, disclose sensitive memory contents, cause a denial of service, or potentially execute arbitrary code using a crafted Brotli-compressed stream.
Users need to update any Brotli libraries or binaries between 1.0.3 through 1.2.0 to the latest available version: 1.0.10 or 1.1.1 or 1.2.1. |
| VMware ESXi, Workstation, and Fusion contain an integer-underflow in VMCI (Virtual Machine Communication Interface) that leads to an out-of-bounds write. A malicious actor with local administrative privileges on a virtual machine may exploit this issue to execute code as the virtual machine's VMX process running on the host. On ESXi, the exploitation is contained within the VMX sandbox whereas, on Workstation and Fusion, this may lead to code execution on the machine where Workstation or Fusion is installed. |
| Adobe Framemaker versions 2020.8, 2022.6 and earlier are affected by a Heap-based Buffer Overflow vulnerability that could result in arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must open a malicious file. |
| Dell Client Platform BIOS contains a Stack-based Buffer Overflow Vulnerability. A high privileged attacker with local access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to arbitrary code execution. |
| Memory corruption when programming registers through virtual CDM. |
| In wlan AP driver, there is a possible out of bounds write due to an incorrect bounds check. This could lead to local escalation of privilege if a malicious actor has already obtained the System privilege (when OceReducedNeighborReport is disabled). User interaction is not needed for exploitation. Patch ID: WCNCR00441510; Issue ID: MSV-4139. |
| In Modem, there is a possible out of bounds write due to an incorrect bounds check. This could lead to remote escalation of privilege, if a UE has connected to a rogue base station controlled by the attacker, with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation. Patch ID: MOLY01672598; Issue ID: MSV-4622. |
| In ims service, there is a possible out of bounds write due to a missing bounds check. This could lead to remote escalation of privilege, if a UE has connected to a rogue base station controlled by the attacker, with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation. Patch ID: MOLY01671924; Issue ID: MSV-4620. |
| In descramble of multiple files, there is a possible out-of-bounds write due to improper casting. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation. |
| An out-of-bounds write in the MongoDB Atlas SQL ODBC Driver may be triggered when a value of a particular database type is retrieved into a fixed-width client-side target. The driver produces a textual form of the value that is longer than the fixed target the ODBC interface defines, and copies it without limiting the copy to the target's real size. A database user with basic write privileges can influence part of the data written outside the target, which may corrupt memory in the application using the driver and cause that application to terminate unexpectedly. |
| Out of bounds write in ANGLE in Google Chrome prior to 156.0.8078.47 allowed a remote attacker who had compromised the renderer process to potentially execute arbitrary code outside the sandbox via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Low) |
| Out of bounds write in ANGLE in Google Chrome on on Windows prior to 156.0.8078.47 allowed a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code outside the sandbox via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High) |
| Out of bounds write in Metrics in Google Chrome on on Mac prior to 156.0.8078.73 allowed a remote attacker who had compromised the renderer process to potentially execute arbitrary code outside the sandbox via a crafted file. (Chromium security severity: High) |
| Use after free in Editing in Google Chrome prior to 156.0.8078.73 allowed a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code inside the sandbox via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High) |
| Out of bounds write in Video in Google Chrome prior to 156.0.8078.73 allowed a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code inside the sandbox via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High) |
| Out of bounds write in V8 in Google Chrome prior to 156.0.8078.79 allowed a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code inside the sandbox via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High) |
| A buffer overflow was addressed with improved bounds checking. This issue is fixed in iOS 26.7.2 and iPadOS 26.7.2, iOS 27 and iPadOS 27, macOS Golden Gate 27, macOS Sequoia 15.8, macOS Tahoe 26.7.2, visionOS 27. Processing a maliciously crafted image may lead to heap corruption. |
| An out-of-bounds write issue was addressed with improved input validation. This issue is fixed in iOS 26.7.2 and iPadOS 26.7.2, iOS 27.2 and iPadOS 27.2, visionOS 27.2, watchOS 27.2. An app may be able to cause unexpected system termination. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
tracing/syscalls: Use copy_from_user for the faultable syscall buffer
syscall_copy_user_array() copies the buffer argument of faultable
syscalls (write, pwrite64, ...) with __copy_from_user(), which skips
access_ok(). Use copy_from_user() instead so a non-user address is
rejected and the entry is recorded as faulted.
It could be a security concern for machines that trust perf a bit too
much. |
| A memory-handling flaw in the MongoDB Atlas SQL ODBC Driver can cause values returned for a query to be written outside the bounds of a buffer provided by the calling application. A party able to influence the values a query returns may cause data to be placed at an unintended location in the client application's memory, which may result in unintended modification of that memory or termination of the client process. Reaching this condition depends on a specific, application-chosen way of requesting several result rows at once. |
