CVE-2024-9287 2 Python, Redhat 3 Python, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Eus 2026-10-30 7.8 High
A vulnerability has been found in the CPython `venv` module and CLI where path names provided when creating a virtual environment were not quoted properly, allowing the creator to inject commands into virtual environment "activation" scripts (ie "source venv/bin/activate"). This means that attacker-controlled virtual environments are able to run commands when the virtual environment is activated. Virtual environments which are not created by an attacker or which aren't activated before being used (ie "./venv/bin/python") are not affected.
CVE-2026-86320 1 Redhat 7 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus, Rhel Aus and 4 more 2026-10-30 7.8 High
A flaw was found in flatpak-builder where Git hooks are not disabled when applying patch sources with use-git-am: true. An attacker who can provide a malicious source containing a Git post-applypatch hook can cause the hook to execute on the host during the build process, resulting in arbitrary code execution with the privileges of the user running flatpak-builder.
CVE-2026-68563 1 Redhat 2 Ansible Collection, Enterprise Linux 2026-10-29 5.5 Medium
A flaw was found in ansible-collection-redhat-leapp. When a remediation task is executed with elevated privileges and the `leapp_old_postgresql_data` option is selected, a PostgreSQL data backup archive is created with insecure permissions. This allows a local non-root user on the managed node to read sensitive archived PostgreSQL data, leading to information disclosure.
CVE-2026-68562 1 Redhat 2 Ansible Collection, Enterprise Linux 2026-10-29 6.2 Medium
A flaw was found in ansible-collection-redhat-leapp. An attacker with privileged write access to a managed node's Leapp report content can manipulate it. When an operator runs a specific remediation task, this manipulated report can cause the Ansible controller to read its own local files and copy them to the managed node. This vulnerability leads to information disclosure, potentially exposing sensitive controller-side data such as private keys or credentials.
CVE-2026-96512 2 Redhat, Sudo Project 13 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus, Hardened Images and 10 more 2026-10-29 7.8 High
A flaw was found in sudo. When sudoers rules use NOTBEFORE or NOTAFTER time-based access restrictions with timestamps that omit the trailing 'Z' timezone indicator, the time evaluation relies on the TZ environment variable inherited from the calling user. Because sudo is a setuid-root program, an unprivileged local user can set TZ to an extreme timezone offset to shift the authorization window by up to approximately 25 hours, causing expired rules to be treated as valid. This allows the user to execute commands outside the intended time window. Authentication is not bypassed; only the time-based authorization check is affected.
CVE-2026-46300 3 Linux, Redhat, Siemens 10 Kernel, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux and 7 more 2026-10-29 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: skbuff: preserve shared-frag marker during coalescing skb_try_coalesce() can attach paged frags from @from to @to. If @from has SKBFL_SHARED_FRAG set, the resulting @to skb can contain the same externally-owned or page-cache-backed frags, but the shared-frag marker is currently lost. That breaks the invariant relied on by later in-place writers. In particular, ESP input checks skb_has_shared_frag() before deciding whether an uncloned nonlinear skb can skip skb_cow_data(). If TCP receive coalescing has moved shared frags into an unmarked skb, ESP can see skb_has_shared_frag() as false and decrypt in place over page-cache backed frags. Propagate SKBFL_SHARED_FRAG when skb_try_coalesce() transfers paged frags. The tailroom copy path does not need the marker because it copies bytes into @to's linear data rather than transferring frag descriptors.
CVE-2026-49875 2 Apache, Redhat 7 Cxf, Build Of Apache Camel, Enterprise Linux and 4 more 2026-10-29 6.5 Medium
Apache CXF's EndpointReferenceUtils and W3CMultiSchemaFactory classes construct a SAXParserFactory without the necessary JAXP hardening configurations, enabling out-of-band (OOB) external entity resolution. Users are recommended to upgrade to versions 4.2.2 or 4.1.7 or 3.6.12, which fix this issue.
CVE-2023-38470 2 Avahi, Redhat 3 Avahi, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Eus 2026-10-28 6.2 Medium
A vulnerability was found in Avahi. A reachable assertion exists in the avahi_escape_label() function.
CVE-2026-6893 1 Redhat 13 Dracut, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus and 10 more 2026-10-27 7.5 High
A flaw was found in dracut. A remote attacker on the adjacent network can exploit this vulnerability by providing specially crafted DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) options, such as a malicious hostname, to a system using dracut's legacy DHCP path. These options are improperly handled and written into temporary shell scripts without proper escaping, leading to command injection. This allows the attacker to achieve root code execution within the initramfs, potentially compromising the system's boot and network behavior.
CVE-2026-39979 2 Jqlang, Redhat 14 Jq, Ai Inference Server, Ansible Automation Platform and 11 more 2026-10-26 6.5 Medium
jq is a command-line JSON processor. In commits before 2f09060afab23fe9390cce7cb860b10416e1bf5f, the jv_parse_sized() API in libjq accepts a counted buffer with an explicit length parameter, but its error-handling path formats the input buffer using %s in jv_string_fmt(), which reads until a NUL terminator is found rather than respecting the caller-supplied length. This means that when malformed JSON is passed in a non-NUL-terminated buffer, the error construction logic performs an out-of-bounds read past the end of the buffer. The vulnerability is reachable by any libjq consumer calling jv_parse_sized() with untrusted input, and depending on memory layout, can result in memory disclosure or process termination. The issue has been patched in commit 2f09060afab23fe9390cce7cb860b10416e1bf5f.
CVE-2026-94422 2 Flatpak, Redhat 2 Xdg-dbus-proxy, Enterprise Linux 2026-10-24 8.8 High
An incorrect implementation of message filtering in xdg-dbus-proxy versions before 0.1.9 allows an attacker to bypass the intended message filtering on the D-Bus session bus by setting a reply serial number on non-reply messages. A malicious or compromised Flatpak app could use this to achieve arbitrary code execution outside its sandbox. xdg-dbus-proxy was designed to be part of the sandbox boundary for Flatpak, but it is released as a separate project and is sometimes used by other app frameworks such as Firejail.
CVE-2026-16487 2 Bootc, Redhat 4 Bootc, Enterprise Linux, Hardened Images and 1 more 2026-10-21 8.1 High
Red Hat Product Security has determined that this is not a vulnerability in bootc or containers-common. bootc fetches images under /etc/containers/policy.json. The shipped default is insecureAcceptAnything for registries without an explicit signature requirement; registry.redhat.io and registry.access.redhat.com require signatures. Updating a mutable tag requires the ability to publish to the reference an administrator has already configured the host to follow. Requiring signatures is available through that policy and through bootc enforce-container-sigpolicy, which is off by default. Persistence of /var across bootc rollback is expected image-mode behavior.
CVE-2024-10306 1 Redhat 3 Enterprise Linux, Jboss Core Services, Rhel Eus 2026-10-21 5.4 Medium
A vulnerability was found in mod_proxy_cluster. The issue is that the <Directory> directive should be replaced by the <Location> directive as the former does not restrict IP/host access as `Require ip IP_ADDRESS` would suggest. This means that anyone with access to the host might send MCMP requests that may result in adding/removing/updating nodes for the balancing. However, this host should not be accessible to the public network as it does not serve the general traffic.
CVE-2026-92768 1 Redhat 1 Enterprise Linux 2026-10-21 5.5 Medium
A flaw was found in cockpit-machines. This vulnerability allows a local attacker to expose sensitive Virtual Machine (VM) credentials, including plaintext passwords, by inspecting process command-line arguments during VM creation or installation. The cockpit-machines component passes password values directly on the command line, making them visible to other local users on systems where process arguments are not restricted. Successful exploitation leads to information disclosure, potentially compromising VM access.
CVE-2026-92745 1 Redhat 1 Enterprise Linux 2026-10-21 5 Medium
A flaw was found in cockpit-machines. This vulnerability allows a local attacker with the ability to inspect process metadata to disclose a sensitive Red Hat Subscription Management (RHSM) offline token. The token is exposed when it is passed as a command-line argument to a helper script during the token validation process. Successful exploitation could lead to the compromise of confidentiality, as the exposed token can be used to request access tokens.
CVE-2026-92747 1 Redhat 1 Enterprise Linux 2026-10-21 5 Medium
A flaw was found in `cockpit-machines`. This vulnerability allows a local attacker with the ability to inspect running processes to expose sensitive guest virtual machine (VM) credentials, such as `rootPassword` and `userPassword`. This occurs when the `install_machine.py` script passes these credentials as a JSON command-line argument during VM creation or installation. The exposure is limited to the period when the installation workflow is active and depends on host process-visibility policies.
CVE-2024-57809 2 Linux, Redhat 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux 2026-10-21 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: PCI: imx6: Fix suspend/resume support on i.MX6QDL The suspend/resume functionality is currently broken on the i.MX6QDL platform, as documented in the NXP errata (ERR005723): https://www.nxp.com/docs/en/errata/IMX6DQCE.pdf This patch addresses the issue by sharing most of the suspend/resume sequences used by other i.MX devices, while avoiding modifications to critical registers that disrupt the PCIe functionality. It targets the same problem as the following downstream commit: https://github.com/nxp-imx/linux-imx/commit/4e92355e1f79d225ea842511fcfd42b343b32995 Unlike the downstream commit, this patch also resets the connected PCIe device if possible. Without this reset, certain drivers, such as ath10k or iwlwifi, will crash on resume. The device reset is also done by the driver on other i.MX platforms, making this patch consistent with existing practices. Upon resuming, the kernel will hang and display an error. Here's an example of the error encountered with the ath10k driver: ath10k_pci 0000:01:00.0: Unable to change power state from D3hot to D0, device inaccessible Unhandled fault: imprecise external abort (0x1406) at 0x0106f944 Without this patch, suspend/resume will fail on i.MX6QDL devices if a PCIe device is connected. CVE-2024-56544 2 Linux, Redhat 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux 2026-10-21 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: udmabuf: change folios array from kmalloc to kvmalloc When PAGE_SIZE 4096, MAX_PAGE_ORDER 10, 64bit machine, page_alloc only support 4MB. If above this, trigger this warn and return NULL. udmabuf can change size limit, if change it to 3072(3GB), and then alloc 3GB udmabuf, will fail create. Further more, costly order(order 3) may not be guaranteed that it can be applied for, due to fragmentation. This patch change udmabuf array use kvmalloc_array, this can fallback alloc into vmalloc, which can guarantee allocation for any size and does not affect the performance of kmalloc allocations.
CVE-2024-49888 2 Linux, Redhat 3 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Eus 2026-10-21 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Fix a sdiv overflow issue Zac Ecob reported a problem where a bpf program may cause kernel crash due to the following error: Oops: divide error: 0000 [#1] PREEMPT SMP KASAN PTI The failure is due to the below signed divide: LLONG_MIN/-1 where LLONG_MIN equals to -9,223,372,036,854,775,808. LLONG_MIN/-1 is supposed to give a positive number 9,223,372,036,854,775,808, but it is impossible since for 64-bit system, the maximum positive number is 9,223,372,036,854,775,807. On x86_64, LLONG_MIN/-1 will cause a kernel exception. On arm64, the result for LLONG_MIN/-1 is LLONG_MIN. Further investigation found all the following sdiv/smod cases may trigger an exception when bpf program is running on x86_64 platform: - LLONG_MIN/-1 for 64bit operation - INT_MIN/-1 for 32bit operation - LLONG_MIN%-1 for 64bit operation - INT_MIN%-1 for 32bit operation where -1 can be an immediate or in a register. On arm64, there are no exceptions: - LLONG_MIN/-1 = LLONG_MIN - INT_MIN/-1 = INT_MIN - LLONG_MIN%-1 = 0 - INT_MIN%-1 = 0 where -1 can be an immediate or in a register. Insn patching is needed to handle the above cases and the patched codes produced results aligned with above arm64 result. The below are pseudo codes to handle sdiv/smod exceptions including both divisor -1 and divisor 0 and the divisor is stored in a register. sdiv: tmp = rX tmp += 1 /* [-1, 0] -> [0, 1] if tmp >(unsigned) 1 goto L2 if tmp == 0 goto L1 rY = 0 L1: rY = -rY; goto L3 L2: rY /= rX L3: smod: tmp = rX tmp += 1 /* [-1, 0] -> [0, 1] if tmp >(unsigned) 1 goto L1 if tmp == 1 (is64 ? goto L2 : goto L3) rY = 0; goto L2 L1: rY %= rX L2: goto L4 // only when !is64 L3: wY = wY // only when !is64 L4: [1] https://lore.kernel.org/bpf/tPJLTEh7S_DxFEqAI2Ji5MBSoZVg7_G-Py2iaZpAaWtM961fFTWtsnlzwvTbzBzaUzwQAoNATXKUlt0LZOFgnDcIyKCswAnAGdUF3LBrhGQ=@protonmail.com/
CVE-2024-49885 2 Linux, Redhat 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux 2026-10-21 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mm, slub: avoid zeroing kmalloc redzone Since commit 946fa0dbf2d8 ("mm/slub: extend redzone check to extra allocated kmalloc space than requested"), setting orig_size treats the wasted space (object_size - orig_size) as a redzone. However with init_on_free=1 we clear the full object->size, including the redzone. Additionally we clear the object metadata, including the stored orig_size, making it zero, which makes check_object() treat the whole object as a redzone. These issues lead to the following BUG report with "slub_debug=FUZ init_on_free=1": [ 0.000000] ============================================================================= [ 0.000000] BUG kmalloc-8 (Not tainted): kmalloc Redzone overwritten [ 0.000000] ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- [ 0.000000] [ 0.000000] 0xffff000010032858-0xffff00001003285f @offset=2136. And restore the value of orig_size after clear the remaining area. When CONFIG_SLUB_DEBUG not defined, (get_orig_size()' directly returns s->object_size. So when using memset to init the area, the size can simply be orig_size, as orig_size returns object_size when CONFIG_SLUB_DEBUG not enabled. And orig_size can never be bigger than object_size.
