CVE-2026-53113 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-21 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: ath11k: fix memory leaks in beacon template setup The functions ath11k_mac_setup_bcn_tmpl_ema() and ath11k_mac_setup_bcn_tmpl_mbssid() allocate memory for beacon templates but fail to free it when parameter setup returns an error. Since beacon templates must be released during normal execution, they must also be released in the error handling paths to prevent memory leaks. Fix this by using unified exit paths with proper cleanup in the respective error paths. Compile tested only. Issue found using a prototype static analysis tool and code review.
CVE-2026-53104 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-21 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: mt76: Fix memory leak destroying device All MT76 rx queues have an associated page_pool even if the queue is not associated to a NAPI (e.g. WED RRO queues with WED enabled). Destroy the page_pool running mt76_dma_cleanup routine during module unload. Moreover returns pages to the page pool if WED is not enabled for WED RRO queues.
CVE-2026-46228 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-21 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: spi: ch341: fix devres lifetime USB drivers bind to USB interfaces and any device managed resources should have their lifetime tied to the interface rather than parent USB device. This avoids issues like memory leaks when drivers are unbound without their devices being physically disconnected (e.g. on probe deferral or configuration changes). Fix the controller and driver data lifetime so that they are released on driver unbind. Note that this also makes sure that the SPI controller is placed correctly under the USB interface in the device tree.
CVE-2026-46171 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-21 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: riscv: kvm: fix vector context allocation leak When the second kzalloc (host_context.vector.datap) fails in kvm_riscv_vcpu_alloc_vector_context, the first allocation (guest_context.vector.datap) is leaked. Free it before returning.
CVE-2026-43317 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-21 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: most: core: fix leak on early registration failure A recent commit fixed a resource leak on early registration failures but for some reason left out the first error path which still leaks the resources associated with the interface. Fix up also the first error path so that the interface is always released on errors.
CVE-2026-31746 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-21 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: s390/zcrypt: Fix memory leak with CCA cards used as accelerator Tests showed that there is a memory leak if CCA cards are used as accelerator for clear key RSA requests (ME and CRT). With the last rework for the memory allocation the AP messages are allocated by ap_init_apmsg() but for some reason on two places (ME and CRT) the older allocation was still in place. So the first allocation simple was never freed.
CVE-2026-31645 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-21 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: lan966x: fix page pool leak in error paths lan966x_fdma_rx_alloc() creates a page pool but does not destroy it if the subsequent fdma_alloc_coherent() call fails, leaking the pool. Similarly, lan966x_fdma_init() frees the coherent DMA memory when lan966x_fdma_tx_alloc() fails but does not destroy the page pool that was successfully created by lan966x_fdma_rx_alloc(), leaking it. Add the missing page_pool_destroy() calls in both error paths.
CVE-2025-71272 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-21 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: most: core: fix resource leak in most_register_interface error paths The function most_register_interface() did not correctly release resources if it failed early (before registering the device). In these cases, it returned an error code immediately, leaking the memory allocated for the interface. Fix this by initializing the device early via device_initialize() and calling put_device() on all error paths. The most_register_interface() is expected to call put_device() on error which frees the resources allocated in the caller. The put_device() either calls release_mdev() or dim2_release(), depending on the caller. Switch to using device_add() instead of device_register() to handle the split initialization.
CVE-2025-39948 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-21 9.8 Critical
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ice: fix Rx page leak on multi-buffer frames The ice_put_rx_mbuf() function handles calling ice_put_rx_buf() for each buffer in the current frame. This function was introduced as part of handling multi-buffer XDP support in the ice driver. It works by iterating over the buffers from first_desc up to 1 plus the total number of fragments in the frame, cached from before the XDP program was executed. If the hardware posts a descriptor with a size of 0, the logic used in ice_put_rx_mbuf() breaks. Such descriptors get skipped and don't get added as fragments in ice_add_xdp_frag. Since the buffer isn't counted as a fragment, we do not iterate over it in ice_put_rx_mbuf(), and thus we don't call ice_put_rx_buf(). Because we don't call ice_put_rx_buf(), we don't attempt to re-use the page or free it. This leaves a stale page in the ring, as we don't increment next_to_alloc. The ice_reuse_rx_page() assumes that the next_to_alloc has been incremented properly, and that it always points to a buffer with a NULL page. Since this function doesn't check, it will happily recycle a page over the top of the next_to_alloc buffer, losing track of the old page. Note that this leak only occurs for multi-buffer frames. The ice_put_rx_mbuf() function always handles at least one buffer, so a single-buffer frame will always get handled correctly. It is not clear precisely why the hardware hands us descriptors with a size of 0 sometimes, but it happens somewhat regularly with "jumbo frames" used by 9K MTU. To fix ice_put_rx_mbuf(), we need to make sure to call ice_put_rx_buf() on all buffers between first_desc and next_to_clean. Borrow the logic of a similar function in i40e used for this same purpose. Use the same logic also in ice_get_pgcnts(). Instead of iterating over just the number of fragments, use a loop which iterates until the current index reaches to the next_to_clean element just past the current frame. Unlike i40e, the ice_put_rx_mbuf() function does call ice_put_rx_buf() on the last buffer of the frame indicating the end of packet. For non-linear (multi-buffer) frames, we need to take care when adjusting the pagecnt_bias. An XDP program might release fragments from the tail of the frame, in which case that fragment page is already released. Only update the pagecnt_bias for the first descriptor and fragments still remaining post-XDP program. Take care to only access the shared info for fragmented buffers, as this avoids a significant cache miss. The xdp_xmit value only needs to be updated if an XDP program is run, and only once per packet. Drop the xdp_xmit pointer argument from ice_put_rx_mbuf(). Instead, set xdp_xmit in the ice_clean_rx_irq() function directly. This avoids needing to pass the argument and avoids an extra bit-wise OR for each buffer in the frame. Move the increment of the ntc local variable to ensure its updated *before* all calls to ice_get_pgcnts() or ice_put_rx_mbuf(), as the loop logic requires the index of the element just after the current frame. Now that we use an index pointer in the ring to identify the packet, we no longer need to track or cache the number of fragments in the rx_ring.
CVE-2025-39834 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-21 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/mlx5: HWS, Fix memory leak in hws_action_get_shared_stc_nic error flow When an invalid stc_type is provided, the function allocates memory for shared_stc but jumps to unlock_and_out without freeing it, causing a memory leak. Fix by jumping to free_shared_stc label instead to ensure proper cleanup.
CVE-2025-39830 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-21 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/mlx5: HWS, Fix memory leak in hws_pool_buddy_init error path In the error path of hws_pool_buddy_init(), the buddy allocator cleanup doesn't free the allocator structure itself, causing a memory leak. Add the missing kfree() to properly release all allocated memory.
CVE-2025-38199 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-21 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: ath12k: Fix memory leak due to multiple rx_stats allocation rx_stats for each arsta is allocated when adding a station. arsta->rx_stats will be freed when a station is removed. Redundant allocations are occurring when the same station is added multiple times. This causes ath12k_mac_station_add() to be called multiple times, and rx_stats is allocated each time. As a result there is memory leaks. Prevent multiple allocations of rx_stats when ath12k_mac_station_add() is called repeatedly by checking if rx_stats is already allocated before allocating again. Allocate arsta->rx_stats if arsta->rx_stats is NULL respectively. Tested-on: QCN9274 hw2.0 PCI WLAN.WBE.1.3.1-00173-QCAHKSWPL_SILICONZ-1 Tested-on: WCN7850 hw2.0 PCI WLAN.HMT.1.0.c5-00481-QCAHMTSWPL_V1.0_V2.0_SILICONZ-3
CVE-2025-37743 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-21 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: ath12k: Avoid memory leak while enabling statistics Driver uses monitor destination rings for extended statistics mode and standalone monitor mode. In extended statistics mode, TLVs are parsed from the buffer received from the monitor destination ring and assigned to the ppdu_info structure to update per-packet statistics. In standalone monitor mode, along with per-packet statistics, the packet data (payload) is captured, and the driver updates per MSDU to mac80211. When the AP interface is enabled, only extended statistics mode is activated. As part of enabling monitor rings for collecting statistics, the driver subscribes to HAL_RX_MPDU_START TLV in the filter configuration. This TLV is received from the monitor destination ring, and kzalloc for the mon_mpdu object occurs, which is not freed, leading to a memory leak. The kzalloc for the mon_mpdu object is only required while enabling the standalone monitor interface. This causes a memory leak while enabling extended statistics mode in the driver. Fix this memory leak by removing the kzalloc for the mon_mpdu object in the HAL_RX_MPDU_START TLV handling. Additionally, remove the standalone monitor mode handlings in the HAL_MON_BUF_ADDR and HAL_RX_MSDU_END TLVs. These TLV tags will be handled properly when enabling standalone monitor mode in the future. Tested-on: QCN9274 hw2.0 PCI WLAN.WBE.1.3.1-00173-QCAHKSWPL_SILICONZ-1 Tested-on: WCN7850 hw2.0 PCI WLAN.HMT.1.0.c5-00481-QCAHMTSWPL_V1.0_V2.0_SILICONZ-3
CVE-2026-110754 2026-10-20 6.5 Medium
Text::CSV_XS versions before 1.65 for Perl leak the parsed fields of a record that fails to parse in getline. getline collects the fields of a record into a new array and returns a reference to it only when the parse succeeds. When the record has a syntax error, getline returns undef and never frees the array or the fields parsed before the error. A long-running process parsing untrusted CSV retains every malformed record it is sent, so repeated malformed input exhausts its memory.
CVE-2025-1634 1 Redhat 3 Amq Streams, Camel Quarkus, Quarkus 2026-10-20 7.5 High
A flaw was found in the quarkus-resteasy extension, which causes memory leaks when client requests with low timeouts are made. If a client request times out, a buffer is not released correctly, leading to increased memory usage and eventual application crash due to OutOfMemoryError.
CVE-2026-46320 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-20 7.4 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tap: free page on error paths in tap_get_user_xdp() tap_get_user_xdp() rejects a frame shorter than ETH_HLEN with -EINVAL, and returns -ENOMEM when build_skb() fails. Both paths jump to the err label without freeing the page that vhost_net_build_xdp() allocated for the frame. tap_sendmsg() discards the per-buffer return value and always returns 0, so vhost_tx_batch() takes the success path and never frees the page; each rejected frame in a batch leaks one page-frag chunk. Free the page on both error paths, before the skb is built. This is the tap counterpart of the same leak in tun_xdp_one().
CVE-2026-46322 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-19 7.1 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tun: free page on build_skb failure in tun_xdp_one() When build_skb() fails in tun_xdp_one(), the function sets ret to -ENOMEM and jumps to the out label, which returns without freeing the page that vhost_net_build_xdp() allocated for the frame. As with the short-frame rejection path, tun_sendmsg() discards the per-buffer error and still returns total_len, so vhost_tx_batch() takes the success path and never frees the page. Each build_skb() failure in a batch leaks one page-frag chunk. Free the page before taking the error path, matching the put_page() the other error exits of tun_xdp_one() already perform.
CVE-2026-68298 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-19 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/xe/vm: Fix SVM leak on resv obj alloc failure in xe_vm_create() Commit 9e9787414882 ("drm/xe/userptr: replace xe_hmm with gpusvm") made xe_svm_init() unconditional in xe_vm_create() and extended it to also initialize a "simple" gpusvm state for non-fault-mode VMs. The matching xe_svm_fini() call in xe_vm_close_and_put() was updated to run unconditionally, but the error unwind path in xe_vm_create() was not. On the drm_gpuvm_resv_object_alloc() failure path, xe_svm_init() has already succeeded but xe_svm_fini() is only called when XE_VM_FLAG_FAULT_MODE is set. For non-fault-mode VMs this leaves vm->svm.gpusvm partially initialized and leaks the resources allocated by drm_gpusvm_init(). For fault-mode VMs, xe_svm_init() additionally acquires the pagemap owner via drm_pagemap_acquire_owner() and the pagemaps via xe_svm_get_pagemaps(). Those resources are released by xe_svm_close(), not xe_svm_fini(). On the same error path, xe_svm_close() is not called either, so fault-mode VMs leak the pagemap owner and pagemaps. Fix both leaks: - Call xe_svm_fini() unconditionally on the err_svm_fini path, matching the unconditional xe_svm_init() call. Move the vm->size = 0 assignment out of the conditional so the xe_vm_is_closed() assert in xe_svm_fini() (and xe_svm_close()) holds for both modes. - Call xe_svm_close() for fault-mode VMs before xe_svm_fini(), matching the ordering used in xe_vm_close_and_put(). CVE-2026-68240 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-19 8.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/gpusvm: publish dpagemap early to avoid device mapping leak on error drm_gpusvm_get_pages() only stored the local dpagemap into svm_pages->dpagemap on the success path. If a later page failed (e.g. -EOPNOTSUPP when ctx->allow_mixed is false) and jumped to err_unmap, svm_pages->dpagemap was still NULL, so __drm_gpusvm_unmap_pages() skipped device_unmap() and leaked the device mappings already created. Assign svm_pages->dpagemap when the first device page is mapped so the err_unmap path can device_unmap() those mappings. This issue was found by Sashiko AI review.
CVE-2026-68216 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-19 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: media: pwc: Return queued buffers on start_streaming() failure The vb2 framework hands buffers to the driver via buf_queue() before calling start_streaming(). If start_streaming() returns an error without first returning those buffers via vb2_buffer_done(), vb2_start_streaming() fires WARN_ON(owned_by_drv_count) and the queued buffers leak. pwc's start_streaming() had two early returns that hit this trap: -ENODEV when the USB device was already disconnected, and -ERESTARTSYS when mutex_lock_interruptible() was interrupted by a signal. Call the existing pwc_cleanup_queued_bufs() helper with VB2_BUF_STATE_QUEUED before returning (matching the state already used by the pwc_isoc_init() error path in the same function). This mirrors the uvcvideo fix in commit 4cf3b6fd54eb ("media: uvcvideo: Return queued buffers on start_streaming() failure").
