CVSS v3.1 |
| A use after free issue was addressed with improved memory management. This issue is fixed in iOS 26.7 and iPadOS 26.7, iOS 27 and iPadOS 27, macOS Golden Gate 27, macOS Sequoia 15.8, macOS Tahoe 26.7.2. An app may be able to execute arbitrary code with kernel privileges. |
| The arm64 MMU backend invalidates a single virtual address from the TLB with invalidate_tlb_page() in arch/arm64/core/mmu.c, which issued TLBI VAE1{IS} with an operand of virt >> 12. That operand encodes the ASID in bits [63:48], so the invalidation only ever matched ASID 0 (the kernel page tables) and global entries. Memory domains, however, are allocated ASIDs starting at 1 in arch_mem_domain_init(), and every domain-private leaf created by private_map() is mapped with MT_NG, i.e. non-global. A domain's cached translation therefore survived the invalidation.
All callers of invalidate_tlb_page() are demand-paging paths. When the eviction algorithm reclaims a frame, page_frame_prepare_locked() in kernel/mmu.c calls arch_mem_page_out(), which marks the kernel leaf invalid, propagates the invalid descriptor into every domain via sync_domains(), and then flushes only ASID 0. do_page_fault() immediately reuses the very same page frame for the incoming mapping through arch_mem_page_in(). A user thread that had already touched the evicted page — a k_mem_partition added with arch_mem_domain_partition_add(), or its own stack mapped by map_thread_stack() — retains a valid EL0 read/write translation to that physical frame under its own ASID.
Unprivileged code running in a user thread can drive memory pressure to force eviction and then keep accessing the stale address, obtaining read and write access to whatever the kernel subsequently placed in that frame: supervisor data, another memory domain's partition, or another thread's stack. This defeats the isolation that CONFIG_USERSPACE is meant to enforce, allowing information disclosure and memory corruption up to full compromise of the system.
The fix switches the implementation to TLBI VAAE1{IS}, which matches every ASID and both global and non-global entries, so no domain-tagged translation survives a page out, dirty-bit update or access-flag clear. Exploitation requires an arm64 build with both CONFIG_USERSPACE and CONFIG_DEMAND_PAGING enabled, an active backing store, and at least one demand-paged page that is also privately mapped into a user memory domain. The same commit additionally stops globalize_table() from stripping EL0 permission and non-global attributes off domain-private leaves during paging synchronization, which previously caused user threads to lose access to their own partitions and stacks. |
| Use after free in Windows Camera Frame Server Monitor allows an unauthorized attacker to elevate privileges over an adjacent network. |
| Use after free in Windows CCFFilter Driver allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code over a network. |
| Use after free in Windows Win32 Kernel Subsystem allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
KVM: SEV: Fix page dirtying in sev_gmem_post_populate()
set_page_dirty() requires that the caller holds some kind of lock to
ensure that the page's mapping does not concurrently go away.
That is not the case for a random page we got from get_user_pages_fast(),
so use set_page_dirty_lock().

| A weakness has been identified in libimobiledevice up to 1.4.0. This issue affects the function service_receive of the file src/afc.c of the component AFC Service. Executing a manipulation can lead to double free. The attack may be performed from remote. The exploit has been made available to the public and could be used for attacks. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. |
| Use after free in Microsoft Edge for iOS allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code over a network. |
| Use after free in Frames in Google Chrome prior to 156.0.8078.79 allowed a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code inside the sandbox via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High) |
| GitLab has remediated an issue in GitLab CE/EE affecting all versions from 19.2 before 19.2.7, 19.3 before 19.3.3, and 19.4 before 19.4.1 that under certain conditions could have allowed an authenticated user to execute arbitrary code on the GitLab server due to a double free issue when parsing a specially crafted regular expression in a CI/CD configuration. |
| Use after free in Microsoft Edge (Chromium-based) allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code over a network. |
| Use after free in Graphic Fonts allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |
| SQLite before 3.54.0 contains a use-after-free vulnerability in the R-Tree extension that allows attackers to make applications use freed heap memory by manipulating the %_node shadow table. Attackers can supply a database declaring %_node WITHOUT ROWID or with a RAISE(IGNORE) trigger so nodeWrite() hashes nodes as 0, crashing the process after node splits. |
| Use after free in Microsoft Edge (Chromium-based) allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges over a network. |
| Double free in Microsoft Edge (Chromium-based) allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code over a network. |
| odhcpd is the DHCPv6, DHCPv4, and router-advertisement server used by OpenWrt. Prior to version 25.12, odhcpd's DHCPv6 IA handler keeps a per-message `first` lease pointer so multiple IA options in one message reuse the same Reconfigure authentication key. A DHCPv6 REQUEST from an adjacent-network client can make the first IA set `first`, then make a later same-IAID IA fail the on-link check and free that same lease, leaving `first` dangling. A following IA in the same packet allocates a new lease and copies `first->key`, producing a 16-byte heap-use-after-free read. ASan confirms the UAF; native tracing shows the packet shape can deterministically reclaim the freed lease as the destination allocation, producing a zeroed Reconfigure key copy. The validated impact is unauthenticated adjacent-network denial of service and DHCPv6 Reconfigure/ForceRenew key confusion. Arbitrary PC control is not proven for this UAF alone. This issue has been patched in version 25.12. |

[ 132.497609] kernel BUG at net/core/dev.c:12376!
Commit 61220ab34948 ("vti6: Enable namespace changing") dropped
NETIF_F_NETNS_LOCAL from vti6 devices. A vti6 tunnel can then
move through IFLA_NET_NS_FD. After the move dev_net(dev) points
at the new netns while t->net stays at the creation netns.
vti6_changelink() and vti6_update() still use dev_net(dev) and
dev_net(t->dev). They unlink from one per netns hash and relink
into another. The creation netns is left with a stale entry.
cleanup_net() of that netns later walks freed memory.
Reachable from an unprivileged user namespace (unshare --user
--map-root-user --net). Cross tenant scope on container hosts. |
| A heap use-after-free in the RTMP protocol component of Apache bRPC (versions < 1.18.0) allows a remote attacker to crash a bRPC RTMP server by sending a crafted Abort control message. No authentication or application-level request is required.
Root Cause:
When an RTMP Abort control message names the chunk stream that is currently being parsed (the chunk stream carrying the message itself), RtmpChunkStream::OnAbortMessage calls RtmpContext::ClearChunkStream, which deletes the RtmpChunkStream while its Feed() is still running. After the message handler returns, Feed() continues to access members of the deleted object, resulting in a heap-use-after-free.
Affected Scenarios:
bRPC servers that enable RTMP support (ServerOptions.rtmp_service set) and accept connections from untrusted networks.
How to Fix:
1. Upgrade bRPC to version 1.18.0, which fixes this issue.
2. Apply this patch: https://github.com/apache/brpc/pull/3452
The fix skips clearing the chunk stream when the Abort message targets the chunk stream that is currently being parsed. |
| A use-after-free and double-free issue in the SetClient command handler of the kmstool-enclave sample application of AWS aws-nitro-enclaves-sdk-c before 0.4.6 may allow an application that runs on the parent EC2 instance to corrupt heap memory inside a Nitro Enclave which may lead to arbitrary code execution within the enclave.
To remediate this issue, users should rebuild any enclave image that includes kmstool-enclave, or code derived from it, against aws-nitro-enclaves-sdk-c 0.4.6. |
| OpenManage Enterprise, versions prior to 4.8.0, contains an Improper Resource Locking vulnerability. A high privileged attacker with local access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to Protection mechanism bypass. |
