CVE-2026-120684 1 Mongodb 1 C Driver 2026-11-03 6.5 Medium
A memory-initialization flaw in the legacy GridFS file handling of the MongoDB C Driver can cause uninitialized process memory to be treated as valid file content and stored on the server. A database user holding ordinary write access to a shared storage area can arrange conditions under which an application later appends to such a file and writes that memory into records the same user is permitted to read, which may result in unintended disclosure of sensitive information from the application's process, including credentials.
CVE-2026-120754 1 Hdfgroup 1 Hdf5 2026-11-03 3.3 Low
HDF5 through 2.2.0 contains an uninitialized memory read vulnerability in H5Z__filter_scaleoffset() in src/H5Zscaleoffset.c. The decode path validates reads against the allocated size of the chunk buffer rather than the number of bytes actually read from the file. Because H5D__chunk_lock() deliberately sizes filtered chunk buffers to the larger of the stored and unfiltered chunk sizes and fills only the stored bytes, a truncated chunk passes these bounds checks and is decompressed from the uninitialized remainder of the allocation. Unrelated heap contents are then returned to the caller as dataset data. Because the reads remain within the allocation, the issue is not detected by AddressSanitizer. An attacker who can get a user or application to read a dataset from a crafted HDF5 file can cause disclosure of process memory. This issue exists because of an incomplete fix for CVE-2026-19029.

CVE-2026-120244 1 Ffmpeg 1 Ffmpeg 2026-11-02 5.5 Medium
FFmpeg 2.1 through 9.0.2 contains a use of uninitialized resource vulnerability in the PCX decoder that allows attackers to leak heap memory through truncated RLE scanlines. Attackers can craft a PCX image whose RLE data ends early, causing pcx_decode_frame() to copy uninitialized av_malloc() buffer contents into visible decoded pixels.
CVE-2026-120245 1 Ffmpeg 1 Ffmpeg 2026-11-02 5.5 Medium
FFmpeg 0.10 through 9.0.2 contains a use of uninitialized resource vulnerability in sunrast_decode_frame() that leaks heap memory when decoding truncated 1-bit and 4-bit paletted Sun Raster images. Attackers can craft a truncated Sun Raster file so the uncleared temporary bitmap is expanded into PAL8 pixels, exposing stale heap contents such as allocator words in decoded output.
CVE-2026-120243 1 Ffmpeg 1 Ffmpeg 2026-11-01 5.5 Medium
FFmpeg 2.0 through 9.0.2 contains a use of uninitialized variable vulnerability in the Go2Meeting decoder that allows attackers to leak stack memory through out-of-range palette indices. Attackers can craft a G2M3/G2M4 stream with a short Kempf palette so kempf_restore_buf() copies uninitialized stack bytes, including pointers or stack guards, into decoded output.
CVE-2026-120246 1 Ffmpeg 1 Ffmpeg 2026-11-01 5.5 Medium
FFmpeg 4.4 through 9.0.2 contains a use of uninitialized variable vulnerability in the CDXL decoder that leaks stack memory into decoded pixels via unfilled HAM palette entries. Attackers can craft a type-0 CDXL file whose HAM pixels select unfilled new_palette entries in cdxl_decode_ham8() or cdxl_decode_ham6(), exposing stack bytes and pointer fragments in the BGR24 output.
CVE-2026-120247 1 Ffmpeg 1 Ffmpeg 2026-11-01 5.5 Medium
FFmpeg 2.3 through 9.0.2 contains a use of uninitialized resource vulnerability in the Huffyuv decoder that allows attackers to leak heap memory into decoded pixels via short packed-BGR bitstreams. Attackers can craft a Huffyuv BGR24/BGRA video whose entropy data ends early, causing decode_slice() to add uninitialized s->temp[0] bytes into output frames, exposing heap contents.
CVE-2026-119602 2 Kyzer, Libmspack Project 2 Libmspack, Libmspack 2026-10-30 3.7 Low
libmspack through 0.11alpha contains an uninitialized memory disclosure vulnerability in the MS-ZIP decompressor that allows attackers to leak heap data via unchecked back-reference distances. Attackers can supply a crafted MS-ZIP CAB file whose first block begins with a back-reference, causing cabd->extract() to write up to 32 KiB of stale heap memory into extracted output.
CVE-2026-63965 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-30 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iio: pressure: bmp280: fix stack leak in bmp580 trigger handler bmp580_trigger_handler() declares its scan buffer on the stack without an initializer and then memcpy()s 3 bytes of 24-bit sensor data into each 4-byte __le32 field. The high byte of comp_temp and comp_press is left uninitialized, and the channel storagebits is 32, so two bytes of stack are pushed to userspace per scan. This is a regression from when the buffer lived in the private data, the move to a stack-local struct dropped the implicit zeroing. bme280_trigger_handler() was fixed up to handle this bug, but this driver was not fixed because there was no padding hole, but rather a short-fill issue. Fix this all by just zero-initializing the structure on the stack.
CVE-2026-63966 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-30 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iio: imu: adis16550: fix stack leak in trigger handler adis16550_trigger_handler() declares the scan data array on the stack without initializing it. The memcpy() at the bottom fills only the first 28 bytes (TEMP + 6 channels of GYRO/ACCEL data), and iio_push_to_buffers_with_timestamp() writes the s64 timestamp at the 8-byte-aligned offset 32. Bytes 28-31 remain uninitialized stack data which leaks to userspace on ever trigger. Fix this all by just zero-initializing the structure on the stack.
CVE-2026-63967 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-30 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iio: imu: st_lsm6dsx: fix stack leak in tagged FIFO buffer The tagged FIFO path declares iio_buff on the stack with __aligned(8) but no initializer, but there is a hole in the structure, which will then leak to userspace as ST_LSM6DSX_SAMPLE_SIZE bytes (6) will be copied, but the space between that and the timestamp are not initialized. Commit c14edb4d0bdc ("iio:imu:st_lsm6dsx Fix alignment and data leak issues") moved the untagged FIFO path to a kzalloc'd buffer in hw->scan, but for the tagged path it only added the alignment qualifier and not the initializer :( Fix this by just zero-initializing the structure on the stack.
CVE-2026-114501 2 Python, Python-pillow 2 Pillow, Pillow 2026-10-30 5.3 Medium
Pillow is a Python imaging library. From 11.2.1 until 13.0.0, Arrow export assumes that an image's rows are tightly contiguous and exports from im->blocks[0].ptr even when PILLOW_ALIGNMENT makes aligned_linesize include row padding or an aligned offset before the first row. The resulting Arrow buffer can include uninitialized padding, bytes preceding the first row, or stale heap contents from previously freed images. Applications that configure alignment and export images to Arrow can therefore disclose one user's pixels or other process memory to another user. This issue is fixed in version 13.0.0.
CVE-2026-119375 1 Sqlite 1 Sqlite 2026-10-30 5.5 Medium
SQLite before 3.54.0 contains an information disclosure vulnerability that allows attackers to read uninitialized page-cache memory by supplying a WAL file with an undersized page size. Attackers can craft a database and WAL file whose oversized record payload makes queries like substr() return stale bytes, disclosing other table rows and internal pointers.
CVE-2026-63897 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-30 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: USB: serial: mct_u232: fix missing interrupt-in transfer sanity check Add the missing sanity check on the size of interrupt-in transfers to avoid parsing stale or uninitialised slab data (and leaking it to user space).
CVE-2026-63934 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-30 7.1 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iio: gyro: itg3200: fix i2c read into the wrong stack location itg3200_read_all_channels() takes `__be16 *buf' as a parameter and fills the i2c_msg destination as `(char *)&buf'. Since `buf' is the parameter (a pointer), `&buf' is the address of the local pointer slot on the stack of itg3200_read_all_channels(), not the address of the caller's scan buffer. The (char *) cast hides the type mismatch. i2c_transfer() therefore writes ITG3200_SCAN_ELEMENTS * sizeof(s16) = 8 bytes into the parameter's stack slot, which is discarded when the function returns. The caller's scan buffer in itg3200_trigger_handler() is never written to, so iio_push_to_buffers_with_timestamp() pushes uninitialised stack contents to userspace via /dev/iio:deviceX every scan -- both a functional bug (no actual gyroscope or temperature data is delivered through the triggered buffer) and an information leak. The non-buffered read_raw() path is unaffected: it goes through itg3200_read_reg_s16() which uses `&out' on a local s16 value, where that is correct. Drop the spurious `&' so the i2c read writes into the caller's buffer.
CVE-2026-63936 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-30 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iio: adc: mt6359: fix unchecked return value in mt6358_read_imp In mt6358_read_imp(), the variable val_v is passed to regmap_read() but the return value is not checked. If the read fails, val_v remains uninitialized and its random stack content is subsequently reported as a measurement result. Initialize val_v to zero to ensure a predictable value is reported in case of bus failure and to prevent potential stack data leakage. This also satisfies static analyzers that might otherwise flag the variable as used uninitialized.
CVE-2026-83695 1 Microsoft 28 Windows 10 1607, Windows 10 1809, Windows 10 21h2 and 25 more 2026-10-30 5.5 Medium
Use of uninitialized resource in Windows Event Logging Service allows an authorized attacker to disclose information locally.
CVE-2026-99115 1 Linux 2 Linux, Linux Kernel 2026-10-30 4.3 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ksmbd: fill in FileSysIdentifier in FS_POSIX_INFORMATION smb2_get_info_filesystem() reports 56 bytes for FS_POSIX_INFORMATION, that is the whole of FILE_SYSTEM_POSIX_INFO, but never assigns FileSysIdentifier. Those eight bytes go to the client as they are found in the response buffer. The buffer is zeroed on allocation, so a standalone request leaks nothing. A compound request can leak: the offset of the next response is advanced by the length pinned for the previous one, so a reply that was written into the buffer and then dropped in favour of the short error response of smb2_set_err_rsp() stays there, and the next reply is laid over it with only the header cleared. Report the file system id statfs() returned, which is what the field is for. FileSysIdentifier is __le64 and f_fsid is a pair of ints, so assemble the value first, val[0] as the low half, and convert it on the way out.
CVE-2026-99114 1 Linux 2 Linux, Linux Kernel 2026-10-30 4.3 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ksmbd: initialize FileSystemControlFlags in FS_CONTROL_INFORMATION smb2_get_info_filesystem() reports 48 bytes for FS_CONTROL_INFORMATION, that is the whole of struct smb2_fs_control_info, but never assigns FileSystemControlFlags. Those four bytes go to the client as they are found in the response buffer. The buffer is zeroed on allocation, so a standalone request leaks nothing. A compound request can leak: the offset of the next response is advanced by the length pinned for the previous one, so a reply that was written into the buffer and then dropped in favour of the short error response of smb2_set_err_rsp() stays there, and the next reply is laid over it with only the header cleared. ksmbd does not implement quota tracking, so report no control flags.
