CVSS v3.1 |
| A logic issue was addressed with improved checks. This issue is fixed in macOS Golden Gate 27.2, macOS Sequoia 15.8.2, macOS Tahoe 26.7.2. An app may be able to gain root privileges. |
| Securepoint SSL VPN Client v2 on Windows contains vulnerabilities in the handling of OpenVPN configurations and proxy settings that allow non-privileged local users to influence operations performed with NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM privileges.
Two attack vectors have been identified:
*
Improper authorization of configuration checksum updates: The privileged service does not properly validate the authorization of connecting clients when updating the checksum of an OpenVPN configuration. This allows a non-privileged local user to modify an OpenVPN configuration and set a valid checksum without administrator privileges. The modified configuration is subsequently processed with NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM privileges.
*
Argument injection via proxy settings: The client does not properly validate or sanitize proxy settings before passing them as arguments to OpenVPN. A non-privileged local user can inject additional arguments through the proxy settings, influencing the execution of OpenVPN with NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM privileges. This attack vector does not require direct communication with the privileged service or modification of the protected OpenVPN configuration. |
| MongoDB Database Tools mongofiles uses a database-stored GridFS filename as the output destination for get_id when --local is not specified. A user who can modify the file metadata can set the stored filename to '-', causing a later authorized retrieval to write the file contents to standard output instead of a local file. If standard output is captured in a location accessible to that user, this may disclose GridFS content the user cannot read directly. Exploitation requires a higher-privileged operator to retrieve the affected file without an explicit local destination and attacker access to the captured output. This issue affects MongoDB Database Tools from version 3.1.4 through versions before 100.20.1. |
| MariaDB Connector/J is used to connect applications developed in Java to MariaDB and MySQL databases. From 3.0.0 until 3.3.7, 3.4.5, and 3.5.11, the ClientMessage.validateLocalFileName() check used a regular expression that could match LOAD DATA LOCAL INFILE text inside quoted identifiers, string literals, or comments instead of requiring a real statement. A malicious or compromised server, or a machine-in-the-middle attacker, could return crafted database or table identifiers that the connector reused in metadata or updatable-result queries, then answer with a LOCAL INFILE request for a client file. With allowLocalInfile enabled, this caused the connector to stream any readable client-host file named by the crafted text, including through DatabaseMetaData.getImportedKeys(), DatabaseMetaData.getExportedKeys(), or ResultSet.updateRow() paths. This issue is fixed in versions 3.3.7, 3.4.5, and 3.5.11. |
| Nuxt is an open-source web development framework for Vue.js. From 4.6.0 until 4.6.3, a client with TCP access to an exposed Nuxt development server can send a nuxt:dev:client-error event over the HMR socket with an absolute file path at the end of its message. The development server reads that file while building the client error report and returns its contents through the error overlay, development error channel, and terminal report, bypassing Vite's server.fs allow list. The default localhost binding limits remote exposure, cross-origin browser requests are rejected, production builds and Nuxt 3 are not affected, and no browser interaction is required. This issue is fixed in version 4.6.3. |
| Insecure permissions in Ghost Commander File Manager versionCode 479 allows unauthorized attackers to arbitrarily read and write files inside the commander's private storage. |
| Insecure permissions in the ContentProvider component of mhss1 MyBrain v3.1.0 allows unauthorized attackers to arbitrarily read another user's private notes/tasks/diary content. |
| Insecure permissions in rubenalfon Pile v1.1.3 allows unauthorized attackers to invoke an exported component, leading to arbitrary data access and overwriting. |
| Insecure permissions in USP Ultimate Screenshot Painter versionCode 240213.009 allows unauthorized attackers to move or overwrite files in another user's private storage via supplying a crafted content URI. |
| Insecure permissions in ProjectMAXS MAXS Main v0.5.19 (versionCode 19) allows unauthorized attackers to arbitrarily manipulate the app's MAXS command/transport mechanism. |
| Local privilege escalation in `SmartUpdate.exe` and `SmartExecute.exe` in INFINITT Healthcare Co., Ltd. INFINITT PACS allows a local low-privileged attacker to execute arbitrary commands with administrator privileges via modification of a world-writable `execlist.txt` command manifest that is processed during application updates. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
Drivers: hv: Avoid infinite retry loop in init_vp_index()
There is a retry loop in init_vp_index() where the CPUs from a certain
node are stripped out if they have already been in the allocated cpumask
or not in HK_TYPE_MANAGED_IRQ housekeeping cpumask. If there is no
CPU left, the allocated cpumask is ignored and the process is retried
again. However, if the HK_TYPE_MANAGED_IRQ housekeeping cpumask turns
out not to contain any CPU in that particular node, that will become an
infinite retry loop. This particular problem was reported by sashiko
[1]. This should rarely happen, but we still need to guard against this.
Fix this infinite loop problem by also skipping NUMA node that has no
housekeeping CPU in the inner while loop of init_vp_index(). Also update
the early abort check to check for the absence of online housekeeping
CPUs instead of just the emptiness of the cpumask. As the outer for
loop will only be reached if the housekeeping cpumask has at least one
online CPU, a NUMA node with housekeeping CPUs will eventually be found. |
| Insecure permissions in Share 2 Archive Today versionCode 61 allows unauthorized attackers to arbitrarily overwrite another user's clipboard content via supplying a crafted URL. |
| On Unix-like systems, when logging is enabled, psqlODBC creates its log files in /tmp by default, named from the program name, user name, and process ID, with the default permissions, typically world-readable, and follows symbolic links when opening them. A local user can read query text and data from another user's logs, and can place a symbolic link at the predictable path so that the driver appends log data to a file of the attacker's choosing with the victim's privileges. Versions before psqlODBC 18.00.0006 are affected. |
| Dell OpenManage Enterprise, versions prior to 4.8.0, contains an Incorrect Permission Assignment for Critical Resource vulnerability. A low privileged attacker with local access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to Protection mechanism bypass. |
| Dell OpenManage Enterprise, versions prior to 4.8.0, contains an Incorrect Permission Assignment for Critical Resource vulnerability. A low privileged attacker with local access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to Protection mechanism bypass. |
| A temp directory creation vulnerability exists in all versions of Guava, allowing an attacker with access to the machine to potentially access data in a temporary directory created by the Guava API com.google.common.io.Files.createTempDir(). By default, on unix-like systems, the created directory is world-readable (readable by an attacker with access to the system). The method in question has been marked @Deprecated in versions 30.0 and later and should not be used. For Android developers, we recommend choosing a temporary directory API provided by Android, such as context.getCacheDir(). For other Java developers, we recommend migrating to the Java 7 API java.nio.file.Files.createTempDirectory() which explicitly configures permissions of 700, or configuring the Java runtime's java.io.tmpdir system property to point to a location whose permissions are appropriately configured. |
| Insufficient access control in User Mode Driver in Intel(R) Graphics Driver for Windows* before versions 10.18.x.5059 (aka 15.33.x.5059), 10.18.x.5057 (aka 15.36.x.5057), 20.19.x.5063 (aka 15.40.x.5063) 21.20.x.5064 (aka 15.45.x.5064) and 24.20.100.6373 potentially enables an unprivileged user to read device configuration information via local access. |
| In Modem, there is a possible escalation of privilege due to a permissions bypass. This could lead to local escalation of privilege (EoP) if a malicious actor has already obtained the System privilege. User interaction is not needed for exploitation. Patch ID: ALPS09608864 / ALPS09327759; Issue ID: MSV-2958. |
| Stirling-PDF is a locally hosted web application that facilitates various operations on PDF files. Prior to 3.0.0, POST /api/v1/ai/tools/create-pdf-from-html-agent accepts attacker-controlled htmlContent and passes it to WeasyPrint without CustomHtmlSanitizer, unlike the sanitized /api/v1/convert/html/pdf control path. HTTP and HTTPS resource references can make server-side requests to internal or cloud-metadata destinations, while file references can embed local content readable by the Stirling-PDF process into the generated PDF. The endpoint is reachable without credentials when security.enableLogin is false, and the flaw is distinct from earlier Stirling-PDF WeasyPrint vulnerabilities in older conversion paths. This issue is fixed in version 3.0.0. |
