| Untrusted search path for some Battery Life Diagnostic Tool software before version 2.9.0 within Ring 3: User Applications may allow an escalation of privilege. Unprivileged software adversary with an authenticated user combined with a high complexity attack may enable escalation of privilege. This result may potentially occur via local access when attack requirements are not present with special internal knowledge and requires passive user interaction. The potential vulnerability may impact the confidentiality (high), integrity (high) and availability (high) of the vulnerable system, resulting in subsequent system confidentiality (none), integrity (none) and availability (none) impacts. |
| An issue in Maltego Technologies GmbH Maltego Windows Installer 4.13.0 allows a local attacker to execute arbitrary code via the Maltego Windows installer executable-resolution logic |
| A flaw in Node.js Permission Model filesystem enforcement leaves `fs.realpathSync()` without the required read permission checks. This is an incomplete fix of CVE-2026-21715, which only covered `fs.realpathSync.native()`.
As a result, code running under `--permission` with restricted `--allow-fs-read` can still use `fs.realpathSync()` to check file existence, resolve symlink targets, and enumerate filesystem paths outside of permitted directories.
This vulnerability affects Node.js **26.x**, **24.x**, and **22.x**. |
| OpenStack Ironic before 39.0.1 sometimes allows a user to change the maintenance setting on a node via PATCH to /v1/nodes/{ident} - in other words, not using the specific maintenance endpoint. |
| draw.io Desktop is the official Electron build of draw.io. Prior to 31.5.2, the Windows application launched powershell and attrib by bare executable name from src/main/electron.js. When draw.io Desktop was not already running, opening a diagram from File Explorer made the diagram directory the current working directory, allowing a colocated attacker-controlled powershell.bat or attrib.exe to be resolved before the intended system executable. A victim who extracted an attacker-supplied archive and cold-opened its legitimate .drawio file could therefore execute attacker-controlled code when Local Fonts were enabled or when draft or backup attributes were updated. This issue is fixed in version 31.5.2. |
| The `/{username}` web route accepted personal access tokens over HTTP Basic authentication without checking their scope. A token confined to an unrelated scope, such as `read:issue`, could read its owner's private activity through the user RSS/Atom feed and the profile activity tab, and other members' activity in a private organization through the organization feed; a public-only token could list the owner's private repositories and organizations and render private profile READMEs. For a site administrator's token this applied to every account. Tokens are now accepted on this route only for feeds, which require `read:user` or `read:organization`. |
| The web profile and RSS/Atom feed routes of users and organizations checked only whether a signed-in viewer could see a limited-visibility owner, without considering the `public-only` restriction of the personal access token used to authenticate. Any user holding a public-only token could send it over HTTP Basic authentication to read the profile and activity feed of limited-visibility users and organizations, which are hidden from anonymous visitors and refused on the equivalent API routes. The disclosure covers existence, profile metadata and public activity; it does not grant write access. |
| Metalama is a Roslyn-based open-source patterns and architecture toolkit for C#. Prior to 2025.1.18, 2026.0.25 and 2026.1.19, Metalama.Framework and Metalama.Tool load and execute compile-time assemblies, auxiliary executable tools and embedded helper assemblies from predictable temporary directories. On `Linux` and `macOS`, the default `Path.GetTempPath()` location is world-writable, and existing artifacts are trusted based on sentinel or `.completed` marker files rather than integrity verification. A local unprivileged user on a shared machine or CI/build agent can pre-create the deterministic directory structure and plant a malicious DLL with the matching sentinel. When a higher-privileged developer or build account subsequently builds, Metalama skips regeneration and executes the planted artifact in the compiler, IDE or MSBuild process as the building user. This permits cross-user privilege escalation, reading source and secrets, supply-chain tampering with build output, or disrupting builds. Default Windows per-user temporary directories are protected by ACLs and are not affected. Deployer-selected insecure cache locations are outside the vulnerability's scope. This issue is fixed in versions 2025.1.18, 2026.0.25 and 2026.1.19. |
| YMS-VPN8 and YMS-VPN8-CP provided by Yamaha Corporation register Windows services with unquoted file paths. A user who has write permissions on the system drive may be able to execute arbitrary code with SYSTEM privileges. |
| The installer for Yamaha LAN Monitor for Windows provided by Yamaha Corporation may insecurely load Dynamic Link Libraries (DLLs). When the installer is launched in a directory containing a specially crafted DLL file, the malicious DLL may be loaded, resulting in arbitrary code execution with administrative privileges. |
| Luxion KeyShot BIP File Parsing Uncontrolled Search Path Element Remote Code Execution Vulnerability. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of Luxion KeyShot. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file.
The specific flaw exists within the parsing of BIP files. The issue results from loading a library from an unsecured location. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of the current process. Was ZDI-CAN-29268. |
| As part of Cisco's ongoing commitment to proactive security and product quality, Cisco has conducted a comprehensive internal security review. This review resulted in a software hardening release that addresses multiple internally discovered vulnerabilities. The vulnerabilities tracked by CVE-2026-76529 are related to improper protection of alternate path and are grouped under the Common Weakness Enumeration (CWE) CWE-424. |
| A vulnerability has been found in the CPython `venv` module and CLI where path names provided when creating a virtual environment were not quoted properly, allowing the creator to inject commands into virtual environment "activation" scripts (ie "source venv/bin/activate"). This means that attacker-controlled virtual environments are able to run commands when the virtual environment is activated. Virtual environments which are not created by an attacker or which aren't activated before being used (ie "./venv/bin/python") are not affected. |
| Hubstaff 1.6.13 and 1.6.14 contain a DLL search order hijacking vulnerability that allows attackers to replace a missing system32 wow64log.dll with a malicious library. Attackers can generate a custom DLL using Metasploit and place it in the system32 directory to obtain a reverse shell during application startup. |
| Asterisk is an open source private branch exchange and telephony toolkit. Prior to Asterisk 20.20.1, 21.12.3, 22.10.1, 23.4.1 and Certified Asterisk 20.7-cert11, 22.8-cert3, `ast_loggrabber` executes a `Python script` from the world-writable `/tmp` directory. An attacker already authorized to open a shell session on the Asterisk server may place a malicious script there and gain elevated privileges or execute code when an administrator runs `ast_loggrabber` as a user with elevated privileges. This issue is fixed in Asterisk 20.20.1, 21.12.3, 22.10.1, 23.4.1 and Certified Asterisk 20.7-cert11, 22.8-cert3. |
| An authenticated user in Grafana can read SSO client secrets and modify instance-wide SSO settings without the required permissions (missing authorization). This affects Grafana OSS and Enterprise 13.2 installations with the experimental kubernetesSsoSettingsApi feature toggle enabled, which is disabled by default. |
| A potential security vulnerability has been identified in HP One Agent for certain HP PC products, which might allow for escalation
of privilege and/or arbitrary code execution. HP is releasing software updates to mitigate the potential vulnerability. |
| Creative Cloud Desktop is affected by an Uncontrolled Search Path Element vulnerability that could result in arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. A low-privileged attacker could exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must open a malicious file. |
