CVE-2026-79986 1 Apache 2 Apache Camel, Camel 2026-11-03 7.4 High
Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory ('Path Traversal') vulnerability in Apache Camel Azure Files component. This issue affects Apache Camel: from 4.0.0 before 4.18.5, from 4.19.0 before 4.22.1. The Camel remote-file consumers poll a directory on a remote server and build the absolute remote path of each file by concatenating the configured directory with the file name reported in the server's directory listing. That concatenation (FtpUtils.absoluteFilePath and GenericFileConsumer) applied no lexical normalization and no check that the result stayed inside the directory being polled, and the resulting path became the operand for every subsequent remote operation on the file: retrieval (FtpOperations.retrieveFile / SftpOperations, reached from GenericFileConsumer where the retrieve name is taken verbatim from GenericFile.getAbsoluteFilePath), deletion when delete=true (GenericFileDeleteProcessStrategy), and renaming when move, preMove, moveFailed or readLock=rename is configured (GenericFileProcessStrategySupport and GenericFileRenameExclusiveReadLockStrategy). Neither isValidFile nor isMatched performed any containment check. A listing entry that is not a single path segment therefore resolved to a path outside the configured polling directory, causing Camel to read, delete or rename files outside it using the endpoint's own credentials. A listing name is not route-controlled data. It is supplied by the remote server, and the FTP control channel carries no integrity protection at all, so an on-path attacker can rewrite a LIST response without holding any credentials; a compromised, malicious or multi-tenant server, or a server backed by a virtual filesystem, can emit such a name directly. Retrieval is reachable in a default consumer configuration, since the remote consumers download every listed file; deletion and renaming additionally require one of the disposition options above, all of which are common. Escape from the directory Camel was configured to poll is unconditional, while escape from the server's own account boundary additionally depends on whether that server confines the account. The jailStartingDirectory option, which is documented as restricting Camel to the starting directory and is enabled by default, governed producer writes and, since the localWorkDirectory containment work, consumer downloads to the local work directory - but it did not constrain this remote operand, so its name and description claimed a boundary that was not enforced here. The same entry point had already been recognised on the local side: the localWorkDirectory download path was constrained so that a remote file name containing parent-directory segments could not resolve outside the local work directory. The remote operand was the remaining half of that surface. This artifact provides the azure-files scheme. Its consumer derives from the same RemoteFileConsumer base class and composed the remote path through a plain concatenation helper, so it inherited the same unconstrained resolution. Reaching it requires a listing name that is not a single path segment, which the Azure Files REST service does not normally return; the exposure was corrected on the same basis as the other remote-file consumers rather than from a demonstrated proof of concept against this scheme. Upgrade to Apache Camel 4.23.0, which fixes the issue. Users on the 4.22.x releases stream should upgrade to 4.22.1. Users on the 4.18.x LTS releases stream should upgrade to 4.18.5. The 4.14.x stream reached end of life and does not receive this fix; users on it should move to a supported releases stream.

CVE-2026-64945 2 Apache, Apache Software Foundation 2 Answer, Apache Answer 2026-11-03 7.5 High
A vulnerability in Apache Answer. This issue affects Apache Answer: through 2.0.2. The question operation controller gates hide/show operations on the wrong permission check result (the unpin permission instead of the hide permission), so in custom role configurations that separate these permissions, a user granted only question.unpin can hide or restore questions without holding question.hide or question.show. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 2.0.3, which fixes the issue.
CVE-2026-64944 2 Apache, Apache Software Foundation 2 Answer, Apache Answer 2026-11-03 5.4 Medium
Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting') vulnerability in Apache Answer. This issue affects Apache Answer: through 2.0.2. The importer stores imported question bodies as raw HTML without passing them through the normal Markdown-to-HTML sanitization path, so attacker-controlled HTML embedded in an imported data source is persisted and rendered to all viewers (including privileged users) as stored XSS. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 2.0.3, which fixes the issue.
CVE-2026-49845 1 Apache 1 Hive 2026-11-03 9.8 Critical
SQL injection in Hive Metastore direct SQL partition-name resolution in Apache Hive before 4.2.1 on all platforms allows authenticated users with access to Hive Metastore APIs to read, modify, or affect unintended partition metadata (including statistics updates, truncation targets, and file-metadata cache operations) via crafted partition names in metastore RPC requests when direct SQL is enabled (the default). Users are recommended to upgrade to version 4.2.1, which fixes this issue. Details about the issue: Several Hive Metastore RPCs resolve partitions by full partition name (PART_NAME) through direct-SQL helpers. In those paths, client-supplied partition names are embedded into SQL using string concatenation (DirectSqlUpdatePart.quoteString() → '...') instead of bind parameters. A partition name containing a single quote (and crafted SQL) can alter the generated WHERE clause so that lookups intended for one partition match additional rows. That can affect reads, stats updates, truncate targets, metadata-cache targets, and related operations when metastore.try.direct.sql is enabled (default: true). An authenticated or network-trusted caller with the ability to invoke Hive Metastore partition-name APIs against a target table (directly or via Hive/other clients), when direct SQL is enabled can perform this attack. Also, the impact is mainly within table & partition targeting (read/update/truncate/drop/cache the wrong partitions in a table they can reference), not arbitrary cross-database access via this bug alone.
CVE-2026-35086 1 Apache 1 Ofbiz 2026-11-03 6.5 Medium
Improper Control of Generation of Code ('Code Injection') vulnerability in email services of Apache OFBiz. This issue affects Apache OFBiz: before 24.09.06. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 24.09.06, which fixes the issue.
CVE-2026-108837 2 Apache, Apache Software Foundation 2 Apache Kylin, Apache Kylin 2026-11-03 7.5 High
Allocation of resources without limits or throttling vulnerability in Apache Kylin. Given an attacker has got project admin permission, an cache API maybe used to cause computed-column resource exhaustion. This issue affects Apache Kylin: from 4.0.0 through 5.0.4. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 5.0.5, which fixes the issue.
CVE-2026-108823 2 Apache, Apache Software Foundation 2 Apache Kylin, Apache Kylin 2026-11-03 7.5 High
Exposure of Sensitive Information to an Unauthorized Actor during job manipulation in Apache Kylin. The impact is minor unless job services are exposed to public network, which is uncommon. This issue affects Apache Kylin: from 4.0.0 through 5.0.4. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 5.0.5, which fixes the issue.
CVE-2026-111497 17 7-zip, Andybalholm, Anthropic and 14 more 28 P7zip, Brotli, Bun and 25 more 2026-11-03 9.8 Critical
A buffer overflow vulnerability in the Brotli decoder (c/dec/decode.c) in Google Brotli versions 1.0.3 through 1.2.0 on all platforms allows a remote unauthenticated attacker to corrupt adjacent decoder state memory, disclose sensitive memory contents, cause a denial of service, or potentially execute arbitrary code using a crafted Brotli-compressed stream. Users need to update any Brotli libraries or binaries between 1.0.3 through 1.2.0 to the latest available version: 1.0.10 or 1.1.1 or 1.2.1.
CVE-2025-48734 2 Apache, Redhat 8 Commons Beanutils, Amq Streams, Apache Camel Spring Boot and 5 more 2026-11-03 8.8 High
Improper Access Control vulnerability in Apache Commons. A special BeanIntrospector class was added in version 1.9.2. This can be used to stop attackers from using the declared class property of Java enum objects to get access to the classloader. However this protection was not enabled by default. PropertyUtilsBean (and consequently BeanUtilsBean) now disallows declared class level property access by default. Releases 1.11.0 and 2.0.0-M2 address a potential security issue when accessing enum properties in an uncontrolled way. If an application using Commons BeanUtils passes property paths from an external source directly to the getProperty() method of PropertyUtilsBean, an attacker can access the enum’s class loader via the “declaredClass” property available on all Java “enum” objects. Accessing the enum’s “declaredClass” allows remote attackers to access the ClassLoader and execute arbitrary code. The same issue exists with PropertyUtilsBean.getNestedProperty(). Starting in versions 1.11.0 and 2.0.0-M2 a special BeanIntrospector suppresses the “declaredClass” property. Note that this new BeanIntrospector is enabled by default, but you can disable it to regain the old behavior; see section 2.5 of the user's guide and the unit tests. This issue affects Apache Commons BeanUtils 1.x before 1.11.0, and 2.x before 2.0.0-M2.Users of the artifact commons-beanutils:commons-beanutils 1.x are recommended to upgrade to version 1.11.0, which fixes the issue. Users of the artifact org.apache.commons:commons-beanutils2 2.x are recommended to upgrade to version 2.0.0-M2, which fixes the issue.
CVE-2026-45434 2 Apache, Apache Software Foundation 2 Ofbiz, Apache Ofbiz 2026-11-03 9.8 Critical

CVE-2025-64408 1 Apache 1 Causeway 2026-11-03 6.3 Medium
Apache Causeway faces Java deserialization vulnerabilities that allow remote code execution (RCE) through user-controllable URL parameters. These vulnerabilities affect all applications using Causeway's ViewModel functionality and can be exploited by authenticated attackers to execute arbitrary code with application privileges.  This issue affects all current versions. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 3.5.0, which fixes the issue.
CVE-2025-59302 1 Apache 1 Cloudstack 2026-11-03 4.7 Medium
In Apache CloudStack improper control of generation of code ('Code Injection') vulnerability is found in the following APIs which are accessible only to admins. * quotaTariffCreate * quotaTariffUpdate * createSecondaryStorageSelector * updateSecondaryStorageSelector * updateHost * updateStorage This issue affects Apache CloudStack: from 4.18.0 before 4.20.2, from 4.21.0 before 4.22.0. Users are recommended to upgrade to versions 4.20.2 or 4.22.0, which contain the fix. The fix introduces a new global configuration flag, js.interpretation.enabled, allowing administrators to control the interpretation of JavaScript expressions in these APIs, thereby mitigating the code injection risk.
CVE-2026-84180 1 Apache 2 Apache Camel, Camel 2026-11-03 5.3 Medium
Generation of Error Message Containing Sensitive Information vulnerability in Apache Camel Knative component. This issue affects Apache Camel: from 4.0.0 before 4.18.5, from 4.19.0 before 4.22.1. When processing of an exchange failed on the consumer side, the Knative HTTP consumer wrote the resulting exception back to the remote caller as the response body, including its class name, message and stack trace. An external sender could therefore provoke a failure and read internal detail about the deployment: class and package names, file system or host names carried in exception messages, and the shape of the route. That detail is useful for building a more targeted attack, and where an exception message embeds configuration or connection strings it is disclosure in its own right. camel-knative was the remaining HTTP-family consumer that had not been aligned with the muteException behaviour established for the other HTTP consumers by CAMEL-23651. Upgrade to Apache Camel 4.23.0, which fixes the issue. Users on the 4.18.x LTS releases stream should upgrade to 4.18.5. Users on the 4.22.x LTS releases stream should upgrade to 4.22.1. The consumer now honours a muteException option that defaults to true, so a route failure returns an empty body with the error status rather than the exception. Set muteException=false to restore the previous output. For deployments that cannot upgrade immediately, add an onException handler that sets the response body explicitly, so that the framework never writes the exception back to the caller.
CVE-2026-84181 1 Apache 2 Apache Camel, Camel 2026-11-03 5.9 Medium
Improper Authentication vulnerability in Apache Camel Shiro component. This issue affects Apache Camel: from 4.0.0 before 4.18.5, from 4.19.0 before 4.22.1. The Shiro security processor skipped credential verification when the subject already bound to the current thread carried the same principal as the incoming exchange. Because the thread that carries a Camel exchange is drawn from a pool and reused across exchanges, a subject left bound by an earlier authenticated exchange could satisfy the check for a later one that presented no valid credentials of its own. The password on the incoming exchange was, in that case, never verified. The condition depends on thread reuse and on the principal matching, which is why it is not reached on every request, but it requires nothing of the attacker beyond sending a request naming a principal that is in active use. Upgrade to Apache Camel 4.23.0, which fixes the issue. Users on the 4.18.x LTS releases stream should upgrade to 4.18.5. Users on the 4.22.x LTS releases stream should upgrade to 4.22.1. The processor now verifies the presented credentials on every exchange rather than accepting a subject already bound to the thread. Setting alwaysReauthenticate=false restores the previous behaviour for deployments that depend on it. For deployments that cannot upgrade immediately, ensure the Shiro subject is cleared from the thread at the end of every exchange so that no subject can be inherited by a later one.
