CVSS v3.1 |
matrix-js-sdk is the Matrix Client-Server SDK for JavaScript and TypeScript. In matrix-js-sdk versions versions 9.11.0 through 34.7.0, the method `MatrixClient.sendSharedHistoryKeys` is vulnerable to interception by malicious homeservers. The method was introduced by MSC3061) and is commonly used to share historical message keys with newly invited users, granting them access to past messages in the room. However, it unconditionally sends these "shared" keys to all of the invited user's devices, regardless of whether the user's cryptographic identity is verified or whether the user's devices are signed by that identity. This allows the attacker to potentially inject its own devices to receive sensitive historical keys without proper security checks. Note that this only affects clients running the SDK with the legacy crypto stack. Clients using the new Rust cryptography stack (i.e. those that call `MatrixClient.initRustCrypto()` instead of `MatrixClient.initCrypto()`) are unaffected by this vulnerability, because `MatrixClient.sendSharedHistoryKeys()` raises an exception in such environments. The vulnerability was fixed in matrix-js-sdk 34.8.0 by removing the vulnerable functionality. As a workaround, remove use of affected functionality from clients.
An issue in TheGreenBow Windows Standard VPN Client 6.87.108 (and older), Windows Enterprise VPN Client 6.87.109 (and older), Windows Enterprise VPN Client 7.5.007 (and older), Android VPN Client 6.4.5 (and older) VPN Client Linux 3.4 (and older), VPN Client MacOS 2.4.10 (and older) allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code via the IKEv2 Authentication phase, it accepts malformed ECDSA signatures and establishes the tunnel.
The web application uses a weak authentication mechanism to verify that a request is coming from an authenticated and authorized resource.
An unauthorized access vulnerability exists in the Xiaomi Mi Connect Service APP. The vulnerability is caused by the validation logic is flawed and can be exploited by attackers to Unauthorized access to the victim’s device.
The Xiaomi Security Center expresses heartfelt thanks to Ken Gannon and Ilyes Beghdadi of NCC Group working with Trend Micro Zero Day Initiative! At the same time, we also welcome more outstanding and professional security experts and security teams to join the Mi Security Center (MiSRC) to jointly ensure the safe access of millions of Xiaomi users worldwide Life.
Improper authentication vulnerability in multiple digital video recorders provided by TAKENAKA ENGINEERING CO., LTD. allows a remote authenticated attacker to execute an arbitrary OS command on the device or alter the device settings.
A vulnerability has been identified in SENTRON 7KM PAC3200 (All versions). Affected devices only provide a 4-digit PIN to protect from administrative access via Modbus TCP interface. Attackers with access to the Modbus TCP interface could easily bypass this protection by brute-force attacks or by sniffing the Modbus clear text communication.
The authentication system of Securepoint UTM mishandles OTP keys. This allows the bypassing of second-factor verification (when OTP is enabled) in both the administration web interface and the user portal. Affected versions include UTM 11.5 through 12.6.4 and Reseller Preview 12.7.0. The issue has been fixed in UTM 12.6.5 and 12.7.1.
The salt.auth.pki module does not properly authenticate callers. The "password" field contains a public certificate which is validated against a CA certificate by the module. This is not pki authentication, as the caller does not need access to the corresponding private key for the authentication attempt to be accepted.
Multiple methods in the salt master skip minion token validation. Therefore a misbehaving minion can impersonate another minion.
fprintd through 1.94.3 lacks a security attention mechanism, and thus unexpected actions might be authorized by "auth sufficient pam_fprintd.so" for Sudo. NOTE: the supplier disputes this because they believe issue resolution would involve modifying the PAM configuration to restrict pam_fprintd.so to front-ends that implement a proper attention mechanism, not modifying pam_fprintd.so or fprintd.
Jupyter Scheduler is collection of extensions for programming jobs to run now or run on a schedule. The list of conda environments of `jupyter-scheduler` users maybe be exposed, potentially revealing information about projects that a specific user may be working on. This vulnerability has been patched in version(s) 1.1.6, 1.2.1, 1.8.2 and 2.5.2.
ReCrystallize Server 5.10.0.0 uses a authorization mechanism that relies on the value of a cookie, but it does not bind the cookie value to a session ID. Attackers can easily modify the cookie value, within a browser or by implementing client-side code outside of a browser. Attackers can bypass the authentication mechanism by modifying the cookie to contain an expected value.
REST service authentication anomaly with “valid username/no password” credential combination for batch job processing resulting in successful service invocation. The anomaly doesn’t exist with other credential combinations.
On affected versions of the CloudVision Portal, improper access controls could enable a malicious authenticated user to take broader actions on managed EOS devices than intended. This advisory impacts the Arista CloudVision Portal products when run on-premise. It does not impact CloudVision as-a-Service.
The Sign In With Google plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authentication bypass in all versions up to, and including, 1.8.0. This is due to the 'authenticate_user' user function not implementing sufficient null value checks when setting the access token and user information. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to log in as the first user who has signed in using Google OAuth, which could be the site administrator.
Weak access control in OpenText PVCS Version Manager allows potential bypassing of authentication and download of files.
An issue was discovered in Newland Nquire 1000 Interactive Kiosk version NQ1000-II_G_V1.00.011, allows remote attackers to escalate privileges and bypass authentication via incorrect access control in the web management portal.
A flaw was found in Keycloak, where it does not correctly validate its client step-up authentication in org.keycloak.authentication. This flaw allows a remote user authenticated with a password to register a false second authentication factor along with an existing one and bypass authentication.
A vulnerability has been identified in which Rancher does not automatically clean up a user which has been deleted from the configured authentication provider (AP). This characteristic also applies to disabled or revoked users, Rancher will not reflect these modifications which may leave the user’s tokens still usable.
