CVSS v3.1 |
| Information loss in BackgroundFetch in Google Chrome prior to 157.0.8103.38 allowed a remote attacker to bypass web origin policy via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Low) |
| An issue in im3x Scriptables through v2-dev branch allows attackers to inject arbitrary OS commands via uploading a file with a crafted filename to the /sync endpoint. |
| Readest is a modern, feature-rich ebook reader designed for seamless cross-platform access and an intuitive reading experience. Prior to 0.11.10, the apps/readest-app/src/pages/api/storage/upload.ts route constructed an object key from the authenticated user's identifier and a client-controlled fileName without rejecting path separators or parent-directory traversal. In the R2 backend, apps/readest-app/src/utils/r2.ts placed that key into a new Request URL before signing it, and URL normalization collapsed parent-directory components so the resulting presigned PUT could escape the caller's namespace. An authenticated attacker who knew a target user identifier and book hash could overwrite or poison that user's stored book object and corrupt the associated file_key metadata; the exact cross-tenant escape was verified for the R2 backend. This issue is fixed in version 0.11.10. |
| Readest is a modern, feature-rich ebook reader designed for seamless cross-platform access and an intuitive reading experience. In affected desktop Tauri builds prior to 0.11.10, the apps/readest-app/src-tauri/src/transfer_file.rs commands download_file and upload_file accepted a webview-controlled file_path and passed it to File::create or File::open without checking the Tauri filesystem scope, rejecting absolute paths, or blocking parent-directory traversal. The commands were registered in the global invoke handler for the main, updater, and reader-* windows, so JavaScript executing in the privileged application origin could write attacker-controlled content to any path writable by the process or read and send any path readable by the process. Exploitation requires JavaScript execution in that privileged origin, such as through an application XSS or compromised renderer; whether book-embedded JavaScript can reach the parent origin was not established. The write primitive can overwrite trusted or startup files, while the read primitive can expose keys, tokens, and application secrets. This issue is fixed in version 0.11.10. |
| A path traversal vulnerability was found in gvproxy, the network forwarder provided by the gvisor-tap-vsock package. The unauthenticated /services/forwarder/expose endpoint does not validate the caller-supplied socket path, allowing an attacker to delete arbitrary files on the host system. |
| Alan: Health Insurance for Android (com.alanmobile) 1.450.0 contains a path traversal vulnerability that allows a co-resident malicious application to write attacker-controlled files outside the intended directory via the exported ShareReceiverActivity, which uses an unsanitized _display_name value from a shared content URI to construct the destination file path. Attackers can send a crafted ACTION_SEND intent with a _display_name containing directory traversal sequences to overwrite sensitive files within the app's sandbox such as databases, shared_prefs, and WebView data, enabling state tampering or code execution in the app's context without authentication or user interaction. |
| A vulnerability was found in Buildah. Cache mounts do not properly validate that user-specified paths for the cache are within our cache directory, allowing a `RUN` instruction in a Container file to mount an arbitrary directory from the host (read/write) into the container as long as those files can be accessed by the user running Buildah. |
| A flaw was found in cri-o. A malicious container can create a symbolic link to arbitrary files on the host via directory traversal (“../“). This flaw allows the container to read and write to arbitrary files on the host system. |
| Mistune before 3.3.0 contains a path traversal vulnerability in the RST include directive that allows attackers to read arbitrary files by supplying relative or absolute paths. Attackers can submit markdown containing include directives referencing ../ sequences or absolute paths to embed sensitive files like credentials or environment data in rendered HTML. |
| A flaw was found in Keycloak, where it does not properly validate URLs included in a redirect. This issue could allow an attacker to construct a malicious request to bypass validation and access other URLs and sensitive information within the domain or conduct further attacks. This flaw affects any client that utilizes a wildcard in the Valid Redirect URIs field, and requires user interaction within the malicious URL. |
| IBM Watson Speech Services Cartridge 4.0.0 through 5.4.0 could allow a remote authenticated attacker to read arbitrary files from the local filesystem due to path traversal. |
| A vulnerability was detected in Comfast CF-WR632AX 2.6.0.1. Affected by this vulnerability is an unknown functionality of the file /usr/bin/webmgnt of the component Multipart Parser. Performing a manipulation of the argument filename results in path traversal. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. The exploit is now public and may be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. |
| Solidtime is an open-source time-tracking app. Prior to 0.16.0, TogglDataImporter::importData() read attacker-controlled project id values from projects.json in uploaded ZIP imports and concatenated them into filesystem paths without validation. Because Spatie\TemporaryDirectory\TemporaryDirectory::path() creates missing parent directories, traversal sequences could escape the temporary sandbox and create directories at arbitrary writable host paths. Distinguishable ImportController responses for existing versus missing targets exposed whether suffix-constrained host paths derived from projects_users/{id}.json or tasks/{id}.json existed, because the importer always appended .json. Any registered user able to create an organization and use POST /api/v1/organizations/{org}/import with type=toggl_data_importer could reach the flaw, potentially causing minor availability impact through directory exhaustion and disclosing host layout information. This issue is fixed in version 0.16.0. |
| In server mode pgAdmin 4 validates a path into the user's storage directory with check_access_permission(), which builds the absolute path with get_abs_path(). Several callers then acted on a path they built differently, so the path checked and the path used could name different files:
- Opening a file in the Query Tool, the Google client secret and, on Windows, Import/Export Data, Backup, Restore and saving a file joined the path to the storage directory after stripping leading slashes and backslashes. On POSIX a path checked as a name inside storage could become an absolute path once stripped, so any file the pgAdmin account can read could be opened; on Windows a path naming a drive discarded the storage directory, so these could read, or write, outside it.
- Listing a folder decoded the path a second time after the check, so a folder named like an encoded "..", which a user can create, listed any directory on the host.
- Download, delete, rename and the file-exists check appended the path to the storage directory without a separator, so in a deployment where one user's storage directory name is a prefix of another's, another user's files could be read, deleted or moved; download also checked the path appended to itself.
- Creating a folder could create one in another user's directory.
The fix makes check_access_permission() return the path it checked and every caller act on that path, decodes folder paths once, and opens, deletes and renames files relative to directories opened from the storage directory without following symbolic links. Desktop mode is not affected.
This issue affects pgAdmin 4: before 9.19. |
| In sendAnomalyProfile of ProfilingService.java, there is a possible path traversal issue due to path traversal. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation. |
| A vulnerability in the web-based management interface of Cisco UCS Central Software could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to achieve remote code execution or conduct information disclosure attacks on an affected device.
This vulnerability is due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input in an HTTP request. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted HTTP request to an affected endpoint on an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to execute arbitrary commands, write arbitrary files to the filesystem, and obtain sensitive information. To exploit this vulnerability, the attacker must have valid user credentials on the affected device.
Cisco has released software updates that address this vulnerability There are no workarounds that address this vulnerability. |
| Coder 2.28.0 before 2.29.22, 2.30.0 before 2.34.13, 2.35.0 before 2.35.10, 2.36.0 before 2.36.8, 2.37.0 before 2.37.5, and 2.38.0 before 2.38.1 contains a path traversal vulnerability in the AI Gateway passthrough router, which forwards percent-encoded dot segments upstream without rejecting them. Authenticated users can send paths such as %2e%2e or ..%2F under allowlisted prefixes to reach unintended provider endpoints using the deployment's centrally managed provider key. |
| In Docker Buildx versions v0.19.0 through v0.38.0, an untrusted Bake definition may expose files accessible to the Buildx client without the expected fs.read approval. Under certain conditions, paths under the same parent directory as the current working directory whose names use the working directory's basename as a prefix can skip the filesystem entitlement check. Exploitation requires specific matching filenames next to the current project directory. Users who run untrusted Bake definitions may be affected. The issue is fixed in v0.38.1. |
| This issue was addressed with improved handling of symlinks. This issue is fixed in Xcode 27.2. An app may be able to read arbitrary files. |
| A vulnerability allowing an authenticated user with the Restore Operator role, who also controls the contents of a backed-up NAS share, to write attacker-controlled files to an arbitrary path on the backup server through relative path traversal. |
